This Zagreb-based startup agency managed to find a niche market in the fashion world and decided to offer services in this area. It may sound trivial, but it seemed at the time that you couldn’t find as many suitable male models if you needed them. Well, here you had them on the menu 🙂

The model booking business is usually done by phone, so I was told. Therefore, requirements for the website were clear – a corporate branded online portfolio of male models with their photos and fashion sizes, contact information for inquiries and for new models to apply.

I decided to keep it short and simple. It was to be a one page website with an overlay gallery, a restaurant style menu with the models divided into categories, for instance fresh faces as “Entrees”, that become “Main Courses” after couple of months, and “Desserts”, featuring models that are outside the typical age range or even some Croatian celebrities.

The extra feature I added was the “Favorites Post-It”; underneath every picture in the model detail view there is a “check/uncheck” link that places or removes that model from the list on the right-hand side. When using the list while on the phone with the agency, the interested party can click the name for a model’s headshot or remove the name by clicking on the red “X”, should the model not be available or lacking some of the prerequisites.

The back-end was custom made to edit the models, categories, contact information and the texts.

When managing the models, in addition to the name, category, dimensions and fashion sizes, you can add the headshot and unlimited number of photos via Ajax, so the administration is pretty swift.
