kids personal organizer 2010

Continuing on the success of the last year’s publication, the “school calendar” for the year 2009/2010 underwent some changes that were made based on the comments and reviews of the customers. The format was changed to DIN A5, no spiral binding and the paper weight was reduced. All this turned the product into a standard-sized notebook that wasn’t heavy in the school bag.

Since we decided that this publication had to have additional value in term of education, new content was introduced. Researched and composed by experts in the field, the “school calendar” featured chapters, hints and exercises in four topics: traffic, ecology, nutrition and children’s rights.

The new concept attracted sponsors that advertised their products and explained the processes and advantages of recycling, personal hygiene, vitamins etc.

The website was upgraded to a community blog with games, quizzes, contests and freebies. We also added a “do-it-yourself” category with Christmas & Valentine’s Day cards, as well as birthday invitations and personalized calendars, that drove page visits through the roof.

Just as in the year before, kids and parents had an opportunity to flip through the publication prior to purchasing.
