Using the existing colors and the logo (Aesculap serpentine wrapped around a crutch) I didn’t think that these visual elements needed any large modification, but a slight aesthetic alteration. The logo was redrawn and slightly adjusted, the gradients and excess colors were removed and the blue color was defined, again choosing an uniform instead of a gradient fill.

The changes were made on all printed materials.

Although this polyclinic’s website hadn’t been updated in a while, both in terms of content and internet technology, the visitor counter kept increasing, showing a significant number of interested parties looking for information regarding orthopedic procedures, physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Using WordPress driven custom-made templates, I replaced the old, static website. The content could be updated via WYSIWYG editors with no knowledge of HTML, which was the prerequisite of the old system. The old data was migrated with no problems and the administrative staff could fill the content whenever they wanted to.
There’s even a “Doc’s corner”, where visitors can follow the head surgeon on Twitter.
